Your favourite beer delivered at home using an IOT button.
This project with Peroni and Ocado was designed to test customer appetite for an IOT button which would add your preferred Peroni order into your Ocado shopping basket.
This project kicked off with a 48-hour hack. Making use of a Particle development kit we created a quick prototype button, mobile app and web service to test feasibility. A more polished button was produced the following week to demonstrate to stakeholders before we moved into short-run production of 100 buttons partnering with RPD International to create the final PCB and casing.
I worked on the end to end customer experience across the touchpoints and technologies – and developed the iOS app to support this.
