An app created with iBeacon technology to send location-specific offers and messages
SAB Miller (now ABInBev) asked us to partner with them to explore the potential of using location-based technology to enhance user engagement within retail spaces, such as pubs and supermarkets. They particularly wanted to see iBeacons in action.
The brief was to build an iPhone app to send location-specific offers and key product information to customers – and demonstrate this in an on-trade and off-trade environment. The final customer experience was distributed internally as a video and the demo was installed in their UK HQ – both were used to educate stakeholders and inform decisions on technology investment.
